Simon Northover
Simon is the co-owner of St Mary’s and has been a driving force behind its growth and values since he and his family acquired the property in 1985. With a clear vision to provide exemplary nursing care for the elderly, Simon led the transformation of the former St Mary’s Hospital into the modern, purpose-built facility that exists today.
Over the years, Simon has taken on the overall supervision of the home, ensuring that every aspect of its operation reflects the highest standards of care. He leads the management team with a commitment to the core values of privacy, independence, and dignity—principles that remain at the heart of everything we do at St Mary’s.
Chrissie Phelan
Chrissie has been an integral part of St Mary’s since 1991 and currently serves as our Registered Manager. With over 30 years of dedicated service, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that every aspect runs smoothly and meets the highest standards of care.
As the welcoming face of St Mary’s, Chrissie plays a key role in supporting new residents and their families during their transition, while also nurturing long-standing relationships with those already in our care. She supervises the care teams, manages staff coordination, and handles all enquiries—whether from residents, their families, or external healthcare professionals—offering a warm, responsive and professional approach at every step.
